Dr. Bajowala is actively involved in advocating for the health and safety of patients, physicians, and consumers. As a member of the Advocacy Committee of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, she helps promote laws and regulations that protect patients and increase access to high quality allergy and asthma care. Dr. Bajowala is the Executive Director of the Kaneland Food Allergy Foundation. She also serves on the Medical Advisory Board of the FPIES Foundation, the Expert International Scientific Advisory Board of the Allergy Centre of Excellence (ACE), and the education committee of the Food Allergy Support Team (FAST).

Dr. Bajowala is currently investigating how technology and telemedicine platforms can be harnessed to improve physician wellness, and is a member of the joint AAAAI-ACAAI Task Force on Telemedicine & Technology, the AAAAI Physician Wellness Committee, and the AAAAI AAdvocacy Committee.
